June 16, 2011

We went to the farm again for a weeding party and although I would love to say that Sulli helped with the weeding, he really just demanded to go to the creek, throw rocks at the flowers, stomp through the crops, and traipse mud into the farm owner's house. It was fun though and still pretty freakin beautiful.
The water here is raging! I haven't lived here that long but I have never seen the water this high, and the melt hasn't really even started yet. There is a lot of flooding and it could get pretty bad, but man it is impressive.
We also went to Ben's uncle's cabin at Lake Mary Ronan with Sulli's cousin Max. It is really interesting how Sulli and Max get along. He is different with Max than he is with any of his other friends. Somehow, he knows that Max is family. They were really cute together.
We are so excited about our upcoming trip East! Sulli is psyched about the plane ride! Wish us a good flight and we will see you soon!

Sulli's only contribution to the weeding party
Soon this field will be full of bright pink Clarkia flowers
My friend and co-worker Ashley. She came with me and Sulli to help weed. It is so perfect that she is on her phone as we weed on the farm.

Holy high water!
Sulli wanted to throw rocks in the river, but he feel asleep instead. He was pissed when he woke up at home and realized that he missed the river.

Cousins

they threw rocks in the lake for hours!

Seriously for hours
We didn't see Winnie very much that weekend. I am pretty sure she thought she had died and gone to heaven.

Boat!

Ben is pretty hot!
And! Max has motor cars!

Sulli and our neighbor Lukas. Sulli is such a good older kid. He is really sweet with younger kids. A bit intimidated by older kids though.

  1. What wonderful pictures. That farm looks kind of like heaven. However, I think you have a seriously disturbed fish. That just isn't natural. However, he seems to be quite happy upside down. Who are we to question his choices? See you tomorrow!

  3. Carter sent me a link to a post that describes air bladder problems as the cause for upside down fish swimming. We are supposed to feed him pea innards. We'll try it when we get back.
