October 26, 2014

Sorry it's been so long since we updated the blog.  It's been a busy time for us.  We've had friends visit, seen friends marry, I got a new job, Ben got a raise, and Sulli has been busy building impressive Lego armies powered by the almighty chi.

We have a wild animal sanctuary close by.  It's kind of amazing and pretty sad.  Most of the animals are rescues from people who tried to get them as pets.  They have a lot of acreage and I'm so glad they exist, but it's sad that they have to exist.

Grizzly coming to get the boy king

We have been doing lots of hiking

Lily Mountain

Hoping to get our crackers

We may have been spotted by Green Ninja

"We hiked all the way up there?!"

Kim, Reed, and Eliot visited.  It was awesome.

And we got a little Gma and Gpa love too

We have a Chuck E Cheese in Foco.  It's a bit different now but still fun.  It's no Rock-afire Explosion though I'll tell you that!

Sulli has finally learned how to play Skeeball.  He has interesting form don't you think?

The mountains here are stunning

We made it back to MT to watch Josh and Elisha tie the knot.  It was wonderful being home and spending time with family and friends.

Sulli and Sage were reunited!

Sage dominating in a pillow fight

Sulli was the ring bearer and Sage and Ely were the leaf girl and boy at J and E's wedding.  The cuteness was off the charts.

And there were cupcakes!
And dancing

And this

They got married at the IsaakWalton Inn.  It's an old train station and they remodeled the train cars into cabins.  It's amazing and I want to go back!

We got to see more friends in Missoula

Loveland had a Maker Faire.  This robot can draw robots.

Giant Lego crane

Some pretty sweet Lego creations.  Sulli was in heaven.  We entered and won a Lego competition cause Sulli is a master builder!

Elk herds cause major traffic jams coming out of Estes Park

Denver museum of nature and science

Think we can build one of these?

This is Mount Cavora from Chima.  You can see the sign that reads 'Chima' in Legos.  Sulli is now almost exclusively making his own Lego creations.

And littering his room with them
