Happy Valentine's Day! Ben and I went to visit some friends in Spokane and Sulli spent the night with Missoula G-parents. It was wonderful to get out of town. I know I usually speak highly of Missoula, but I will not be doing that today. We have had a total of 12 sunny days since December 1st and we are feeling it! Perhaps Missoula should move to Virginia or South Carolina for the month of February. We are looking forward to visits from both Mimi and G-pa Elsey next month. Everything is going well for us sun-deprived Missoulians.
Sulli is in swim class again but really isn't liking it. We had an unfortunate, OMG I am the worst Mother ever, moment where I turned my head for a second after putting Sulli up on the side of the pool to play 'humpty dumpty' and when I turned my head back Sulli was gone, submerged completely underwater. He cried to a good 5 minutes after I pulled him back up. He had a little PTSD at the next class when it was 'humpty dumpty' time but after watching the other kids in the class do it a couple of times, he was back on the 'humpty dumpty' horse. It's hard being a Mom sometimes, it's way too easy to F it all up! But, we cary on right? Love you all and hope you have wonderful V days!
I found these at Goodwill for $2! One of my favorite memories from childhood was going rounds against Carter, Sue, Mom, and Dad with these. I was so happy to find them!
And G-pa Elsey sent us this wonderful rocking chair that is who know how old. It is perfect Sulli size.
