Happy Birthday Grandpa Elsey!!

Hi all!

Sulli, Ben, and I are settling back into normal life after our E. coast trip although we really miss everyone.

Sulli had a missoula birthday party last Sunday and got some great presents. One of which was a sandbox that has been tons of fun. I had Sulli in there naked the other day and he got sand everywhere! I had to hose him off in the sink, pretty funny. Ben thought I was nuts putting him in there naked, but Ben likes to keep things clean, more so than me (Mom can attest to this).

I think Ben and I have finally found day care for Sulli. A patient of mine has a 1 1/2 year old boy and she is a stay at home mom. She is going to watch Sulli twice a week, Ben will watch him one day, I will take one day, and Mr. Grandfather will have a day. It is amazing how stressed I have been over the daycare thing (me stressed? no way...)but the idea of leaving your child all day with a stranger just wasn;t working for me.

Enjoy the new pics and vidoes. BTW, we realize that we have horrible music in the background of some of these movies and the reason for that is that Sulli likes top 40, unfortunately...

Take care and we love you. Happy birthday Daddy!

Jess, Ben, and Sulli

Sulli did much better eating his cake at his 2nd birthday party. Amazing the difference a few weeks of fine motor development make!

The first harvest from our garden! Spinach, lettuce, and cabbage that ended up being pretty but not so much yummy.

We finally got Sulli's bike trailer hooked up and rode to the famer's market this morning. Thanks G-pa Elsey!!

  1. I am still weeping. I just laughed til I cried. You have the baby dog of all time, a cell phone, and a Dad who blows balls. You have no need of toys! I will watch these videos over and over just to hear Sulli's amazing repertoire of sounds. Congrats on daycare! It is one of the most difficult decisions you will ever make - right up there next to "Is Sulli old enough to use the car?" Oh- the veggies are really gorgeous - how can lettuce not tast good? Did you wash them? I miss you all.

  2. I haven't see Sulli in person for over a week. I love these videos and pics. See you later. The veggies are beautiful, but bitter, right? I'm not sure why home grown veggies ae often bitter.
