I need to start this blog by saying that I just finished reading the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and it was awesome! Dark, but great. Anyway...
We got to go to the fair!!! I love the fair. Where does all of this hot white trash live during the rest of the year? We ate fried cheese curds (well, Sulli and Ben did), twisted taters, a tater pig, a fantastic chicken salad that a woman made me at the chicken pita stand, and Sulli had his first corn-dog, or 'dog-corn' as he calls it. Fair food, almost as good as ballpark food.
We also finished part of our basement and turned it into a playroom for Sulli. It is pretty cool!
Painting the wood pannelling in Sulli's playroom. Note the disgusting pinkish asbestos floor tiles.
We lost one of the chickies during our Flathead vacation. The remaining 2 chicks are laying 1 egg almost every day. One has become extremely friendly too.
We got one raspberry from our new bushes which Sulli promptly ate. Then he ripped off the 2 non-ripe raspberries too. Kids are so destructive!
Dog-corn!! Ben thinks this picture looks like Sulli is munching on some sort of amputated limb. He's right but I love this picture!
So he is surrounded on both sides by miniature horses and he would rather run up and down this hose...
A little bit of GNP going to the sun road!
Oh, these are wonderful. I love the pensive one. Maybe that will work in my frame as a Sulli update. Sorry about the little chickie - they look so healthy. What happened? Now, Jessica, your paintings in the playroom are wonderful! There are people who would happily pay for that kind of thing in their own homes. And I just have to tell you - about "Thank goodness they're cute?" That is exactly what the mother of your little friend Amy in Atlanta said about you when you were two. The apple does not fall far from the tree. Love you all.
