Sulli's cousin Max had his 1st birthday this month and Sulli gave him a big birthday kiss. He is such a wonderfully sweet kid. We have had some really nice days here and Sulli and I are enjoying having people other than us at the park. We can't have the only kid that goes nutso if he is stuck in the house for too long, but we are usually the only people at the park. Last time at the park we met 2 families that live near us with kids Sulli's age, it was great. Anyway, not much else going on here. School starts next week so back to the grind!
Sulli is totally obsessed with "poppop" (what he calls the Night before Christmas book) he reads, or has it read to him about 15 times a day.
Happy New Year everyone! Sulli is enjoying his new skill for the new year, fit throwing! He has gotten very good at picking his legs up, plopping down on his butt, and screaming when he isn't getting what he wants. It is awesome fun (sarcasm), but cool at the same time watching him become his own little person with his own opinions. Ben is enjoying the winter break after a very successful first semester as a graduate student and has been doing more daddy daycare. He took Sulli to gymnastics last week and it sounds like they had a great time. 40 kids running around a big gym with wild abandon, sounds like some great chaos! I am jealous that I haven't been able to go yet.
I have started running again, but not a lot. I messed my knee up good after the 1/2 marathon so I don't think distance will be in my future again, but it is nice to get out with Sulli in the stroller even for a short jog.
We just got back from x-country skiing with Ben carrying Sulli in the backpack on a gorgeous day and I just have to wonder again how people can live elsewhere... Then I remember the 20 gray days preceding this one, but still!
Sulli loves his Babos (ugly dolls, he has 3 only 1 of which is named Babo, but in Sulli's world they are all Babos)
He loves his Dadda
The moon over Mt. Sentinel from our house, it was beautiful
He loves his toy basket
And his 'Bee' (both kitties are Bee)
Too cold to play with the wheelbarrow
Best friends
G-pa Elsey got Sulli this sweet tricycle and last week there was a rare beautiful and warm day to go ride it around the neighborhood.
